Q: Why are calendar dates in the past grayed out?
A: We don't keep data for more than one month so enabling older dates in the calendar would be pointless.
Note that ongoing specials, i.e. those for which we have no start or finish date, will be listed into the infinite future even though they may ultimately only last a few weeks and all specials & events can be cancelled without notice so please check with the venue first.
Q: Why are there no Happy Hour drink specials in Greensboro?
A: The NC Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission FAQ says, "Drink specials must be offered from the time the business opens to the time it closes to not be in volation of ABC laws. Free drinks or reduced price drinks cannot be offered during limited hours. NCGS Rule. 2S.0232"
NCGS Rule. 2S.0232 actually says, "An on-premise permittee or his agent shall not give away a drink or sell one at a price that is diferent from the usual or established price charged for the drink for any period of time less than one full business day."
